NO-vember
As I write this it's my first day back from a two week holiday.
Much time to recharge, to refresh and to reflect.
And, as ever, when I go away, I've made some decisions.
It's also the 1st NO-vember (not a typo) - which means we're into the 'end-game' of 2021.
For most businesses how the year is going to end up is pretty much done and decided now.
For most of us, there are not many things we can do between now and Christmas that will impact on THIS year's numbers.
But there's plenty we can do in NO-vember that will impact massively on NEXT year.
And there's one biggie in particular that will have a H-U-G-E impact on your business and your life next year IF you address it and take action now: NO-vember is the time to say 'NO'.
Decide - and take action on the things that YOU should NOT be doing.
Use NO-vember to say 'NO' to the things that suck your time and take you away from the big stuff.
And stop doing 'em.
STOP doing the £10 an hour work in your business.
Liberate yourself instead to do the £1,000 an hour work that will catapult you forward next year.
Say 'NO' this month to the things you do that are way below your pay grade but which you do out of habit or because you've always done 'em.
Recognise the futility of dreaming big when your daily 'To do' list is full of all the little stuff - and say 'NO' to it.
Stop carrying on that way. Say 'NO'.

To make meaningful progress, somehow, someway, you have to liberate some of your time - and NO-vember is the time to do it.
Say 'NO' this NO-vember to the things that are really holding you back.
The little things that get your time, your energy and your focus and that collectively squeeze out the big stuff.
Make your 'TO-DON'T' list of the things that you do that you shouldn't be doing.
It doesn't need to be a big list.
Just stopping 2-3 low-value tasks that someone-has-to-do-but-it-shouldn't-be-you will make a massive difference.
Delegate the things on that list. Outsource them. Eliminate them from your life.
Liberate yourself to spend time thinking and focusing on the big stuff that will really make a difference.
There are two things that I'm saying NO to this month.
Two things that I've carried in my business for many months now and which my holiday has helped me see are holding me back. So I'm stopping 'em. Now. Today.
I'm using NO-vember to set me up better for 2022.
So I'll be in better shape, focused on the right things, with the time to execute.
And you could do the same.
NO-vember.
That's what it's all about...
Come on. You can do it. Start with your TO-DON'T list. Today.

3yNo is always an underrated answer. People are scared of ‘no’. They prefer a ‘maybe’ but that ‘maybe’ is often a never ending ‘no’. One of the things I learnt when selling franchises for Nigel (20 in 12 months) was that ‘no’ was a good answer. It allowed me to spend time with the right prospects.
