Normalising Health

Let's normalise health, instead of illness.

Did you know that over three quarters of Australians have at least one long-term health condition? 

That's a scary thought.

And what's even scarier is that we're normalising being sick and having the many varied and numerous symptoms experienced each day. Often thinking it's just a part of life and having to just put up with feeling tired all the time, or not having the energy to do the things we want to do, among the myriad of other health challenges faced each day.

It doesn't have to be this way!

 There are things you can do to start feeling incredible. To have more energy, more focus, be more productive, happier, and ultimately live a life on purpose.

Here’s some tips to get your started 

Know What Health Looks Like For You

What feeling your best would look like?

 How would your day change? 

What would you be able to do that you can't do now? 

Take 15 minutes with a note pad and pen and write down, what your ideal day would look like if you had the health and wellbeing you really want and deserve to enjoy.

Becoming clear on what being healthy would mean for you is a crucial step in your wellbeing journey. You may even be surprised to see what you write and what day you create as your best.

Make It About You

Create routines that support you and your wellbeing. Routines that you enjoy.

This is about you, your health, your lifestyle and what suits and supports you mos

This isn't about deprivation, what is and isn't working for your colleague or next door neighbour or forcing yourself to do things you don’t enjoy. 

It's about finding elements that will improve your life and health that you can stick to and will enhance the quality of your life, taking you from surviving to thriving

Aways Include Small Changes

 It's the small consistent changes that create the biggest results. 

Big changes all at once, rarely last. In fact in 3 decades in the industry, I’ve not seen big changes last for any length of time for anyone.

To really create change you need to make it about you and take small consistent steps 

Add that to steps that you enjoy and would be part of your ideal day, and you have the start of a winning combination.

Become Curious As To What Your Body Is Saying 

Your signs, signals and symptoms are all ways in which your body speaks with you.

The headaches? The aches and pains? Digestive issues? and more…

All ways in which your body is letting you know it doesn't have the right environment to be its best and would like you to listen and make changes.

How you respond will depend on whether you have been taught the skills to listen and respond to your body.

Do you understand and know what your body wants, needs and when? 

No really, do you?

Do you understand what your body, mind and soul is communicating with you in all the 4 Pillars of health?

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Soulful

If not, it’s time to learn and change your life, once and for all

Time to for us all to stop normalising illness and not feeling well, or not feeling our best and start normalising feeling amazing, enjoying life, living on purpose and thriving instead of just surviving!
