Season of Service: Employees Spread Holiday Cheer

During the holiday season, families in need often face immense hardship. Our employees recognize this and, through donations and volunteerism, have brought hope and joy to many communities during this challenging time.

In addition to volunteering, employees collected thousands of non-perishable food items for Gleaners Food Pantry in Cranberry Township - one of the largest donations in the pantry's history.

 ONE Future Releases Annual Report

Our Nation’s Energy Future (ONE Future) is a coalition of over 50 natural gas companies working voluntarily to reduce methane emissions across the natural gas value chain. Its mission is to ensure that natural gas is a long-term sustainable fuel in a net zero future by reducing member companies’ ratio of methane emissions to natural gas produced (methane intensity) to 1.0% or less by 2025.

All National Fuel segments, including Seneca and Midstream, joined ONE Future in 2021 and submitted emissions data for the recently released annual report. The annual report shows that each segment beat its 2025 target, and the natural gas value chain reported an intensity of 0.421%, which beat the 2025 goal of 1.0% by 57.9%!  To access the full annual report, click here.

Honoring Those Who Served

November marked Veterans Day and Seneca and its parent company, National Fuel Gas, took time to reflect and honor the brave men and women who served our country. Members of NFG's Employee Resource Group - VetFuel - gathered for a flag-raising ceremony at its headquarters in Williamsport, NY. The group is dedicated to supporting veterans within the communities where National Fuel Gas segments operate. Through VetFuel, members can access a supportive community of like-minded individuals committed to veterans and their allies. The group offers opportunities for socialization, professional development, and expanding professional networks.

Seneca Resources was also proud to support a local Eagle Scout project to honor veterans in Troy, PA. Alexander Brown created this memorial for the Troy Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). The memorial includes cherry trees, hydrangea bushes, plaques, and monuments paying tribute to our fallen heroes. The special dedication ceremony was held on Veterans Day. Seneca was honored to be part of the event.

In addition, Seneca's employees will participate in this year’s Wreaths Across America event on Saturday, December 16th. More than two million volunteers and supporters at more than 4,000 cemeteries across the U.S. will gather to place wreaths on the gravestones of fallen heroes. Volunteers will place wreaths at the following cemeteries:

  • The Old Brookville Cemetery, Brookville, PA
  • McKean County Cemeteries, Mt. Jewett, PA
  • Roseville Cemetery, Mansfield, PA
  • Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, PA
  • Plains Church Cemetery, Cranberry Twp., PA

Absolutely inspiring to see! 🌟 Remember, as Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Keep up the fantastic work in spreading joy and making a difference! 💖🙌 #CommunityHeroes
