OUR INNOVATIONS

Powering the future of battery technology

Battery technology is essential to unlocking a future fueled by renewable energy. Across AMETEK, we provide cutting-edge solutions that span the entire lifecycle of a battery.

Lithium-ion batteries are crucial for electric vehicles (EVs) because they provide high energy density, enabling longer driving ranges and faster recharging times, making EVs more practical and efficient for daily use.

From raw materials, to manufacturing, researching, recycling and anything in between, AMETEK’s businesses – including SPECTRO Analytical Instruments GmbH , AMETEK Brookfield , AMETEK STC , Gatan Inc. , and Princeton Applied Research and Solartron Analytical – offer solutions that make batteries better, so they can efficiently power the world around us.

Learn how AMETEK is advancing battery technology across our businesses.
