AMETEK acquires Virtek Vision International

AMETEK recently announced the acquisition of Virtek Vision International Inc. — a leading provider of advanced laser-based projection and inspection systems.

"Virtek is an outstanding acquisition and an excellent strategic fit with our Creaform business. AMETEK's Corporate Office Supports the United Way

AMETEK’s Corporate Office rallied together for their annual United Way fundraiser, supporting the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey in its mission to end poverty and strengthen our communities.


Employees at our Berwyn, PA, office engaged in games and trivia, which served as a strong teambuilder with interdepartmental groups working together.

The week was full of fun team activities that build company culture while contributing to an important cause together. To maximize contributions to the United Way, the AMETEK Foundation will provide a dollar-for-dollar matching donation. Learn more about AMETEK’s support of the United Way.


Colleagues worked together to assemble hospitality kits for patients that stay at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge.

Journey to Jupiter

This month, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and SpaceX launched the Europa Clipper – a spacecraft that will explore Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons, and determine if it is capable of supporting life.

To help ensure that the Europa Clipper thrives on its mission, NASA included a state-of-the-art liquid cooling system from AMETEK Pacific Design Technologies (PDT) . Learn how AMETEK PDT’s liquid cooling system is helping the spacecraft on its 1.8-billion-mile journey to Jupiter.
