One of the reasons I chose to use a virtual gallery...
for the BALLAST exhibition was to make the art as accessible as possible.
And one of the features of the platform ( Kunstmatrix ) is the ability to view the artworks in your own home and at scale, using AR (augmented reality).
There are only a few steps, and I've laid them out below 👇
1) Download the art.augmented app here:
2) Print out & place this marker on the wall: (download in the app or here)
3) In the app, navigate to the BALLAST exhibition:
**Note: You can re-position an artwork once it appears on your wall by dragging it with your finger.
Let me know how you get on!

1yWhat do you think John Kraski? Creating 'drag and drop' mini-metaverse interoperability from 3rd parties + incorporating AR with the enclosed assets. The limitation I found with the Kunstmatrix platform was the twofold: 1) not being able to exist within a larger metaverse ecosystem 2) not being able to 'show up' as my virtual self and communicate in real time with visitors to the exhibition I shared this with the team at Kunstmatrix and they're now using my exhibition as a test case. Perhaps a future partnership with LandVault?
