Mozambique: conflict in Cabo Delgado

Since December 2023, the northern region of Cabo Delgado province has seen an escalation in attacks characterised by violence towards civilians and damage to houses, churches, schools, and health centres. Between December 2023 and March 2024, the surge in conflict resulted in the displacement of over 100,000 individuals, including more than 60,000 children.
