People and Innovation: The Key to Successful Achievement at Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo

Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo will continue to fuel the growth of the Kosovo market and empower its customers, while bringing the highest international business standards and best practice. Furthermore, we remain dedicated to supporting the communities we serve, leaving a positive and lasting impact.

In today's fast-paced consumer market, where demands are ever increasing, staying close to consumers and customers is crucial for any successful brand. For the past years, Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo, a proud member of the global Coca-Cola system, has consistently risen to the challenge, demonstrating the winning blend of people, best quality products and innovation.

“People are at the heart of our organization. Our team in Kosovo comprises 120 dedicated and hardworking individuals who embody the essence of our business. Driven by their passion and shared commitment to customers, they are the true strength and growth potential of the company”, stated Arber Pireva, regional sales manager at Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo.

“Equally important, we prioritize our customers and their satisfaction. Our core value is "Customer First," and we strive to exceed their expectations every day. With a robust network of over 7,000 customers, we foster strong partnerships and collaboration to ensure mutual growth and prosperity”, said Pireva.

Innovation plays a pivotal role in meeting both customer and consumer needs, and Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo has continuously evolved its portfolio to keep up with changing habits. Despite already offering a comprehensive 24/7 portfolio of products suitable for every occasion and time of day and night (Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Fanta, Schweppes, Cappy, Fuze Tea, Monster, Rosa water…), the company remains committed to providing novelties.

“In the last year we successfully launched two strong coffee brands in the Kosovo market - the globally renowned Costa Coffee from Britain and the truly Italian coffee brand, Caffe Vergnano. Adding to the dynamic nature of the industry, Coca-Cola Cherry is set to make its debut this month, refreshing our consumers”, announces Pireva.

In addition to product innovations, Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo is dedicated to developing sustainable packaging solutions, thereby supporting country’s efforts towards circular economy.

Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo was among the first on the market to introduce two major packaging innovations. The plastic “film” previously used to wrap packs of four cans of Coca-Cola has been replaced with a cardboard "lid" called KeelClip. This innovative change is projected to save tons of plastic over the next five years.

Another notable packaging innovation is the new attached caps on PET products. These caps, following the European Union Directive, will become mandatory for member countries from next year, and Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo is introducing them to the domestic market ahead of the legislation, thus once again demonstrating its commitment to be responsible and inspire others to action. This innovation comes from the need for the cap and the bottle to be collected together, thereby encouraging the recycling of the entire package.

“The use of attached caps will contribute to addressing the challenge of collecting and recycling packaging waste, as it is a common observation that improperly disposed beverage caps often end up in the environment. We are immensely pleased and proud to introduce this innovation to the local market, demonstrating our commitment to supporting our consumers and their dedication to recycling”, concluded Pireva.

Coca-Cola HBC Kosovo will continue to fuel the growth of the Kosovo market and empower its customers, while bringing the highest international business standards and best practice. Furthermore, we remain dedicated to supporting the communities we serve, leaving a positive and lasting impact. Through flagship Coca-Cola Youth Empowered project, the company will continue to motivate young people from Kosovo by sharing successful examples and giving valuable skills and knowledge, that will support them in their future career.
