Planning to switch your job? Ask yourself these 3 questions!

Contemplating switching jobs, but unsure if that is the right decision? Well, you are in the same boat as many. You may be motivated with the idea to try something new, but afraid of losing the comforts of your current job. A decision very difficult to make, switching jobs will impact your professional journey. Answer 3 simple questions and your decision will be a breeze-

What has been your growth trajectory?

Research shows that …. People switch jobs to augment professional growth. Study your growth trajectory to explore how much you’ve grown and if there is still potential to grow. If the answer NO, take a leap into a new job

Do you like culture?

The culture of your organization impacts your performance drastically. Do you feel engaged at work and see your co-workers and environment as positively reinforcing? If YES, stay back and enjoy the culture and comforts.

Do you seek to change?

Introspect to understand if you're satisfied with your current profile or see yourself in a different role. If you're more bent upon the latter then don't think twice, jump to a new job today.

One last point, it's not necessary that your new job will get you what you are missing out in your current one, so the spirit of adventure and the mindset to unlock one’s potential is also a key criterion to selection.

Decide patiently for this as this will decide your future growth.
