The Power of Purpose: Embracing Your Unique Mission
Hello Tribe,
It’s me again. I’ve been experiencing so much revelation recently, and my heart longs for my community to share in this. When I learn, you learn too.
Today, I’m writing to you about Purpose and Mission. Let me begin with a story. One of my closest friends, who is also a lawyer like me, started her own business. We’re both building our own paths and constantly sharing ideas. If I don’t know something, I ask her, and when she’s unsure, she turns to me.
God placed it in my heart to pursue something similar to what she was doing. But I hesitated. I told God I couldn’t, fearing it would seem like I was trying to compete with her or push her out of the market. This friend is so valuable to me, and I couldn’t bear the thought of harming our friendship.
Despite my reservations, I began building my website. Halfway through, the Holy Spirit told me to compare my work with hers. To my surprise, when I finally did, I realized that what she offers is different—her approach, her platform, and even her vision. In that moment, I found peace.
Here’s what the Holy Spirit taught me: when you truly know your purpose and mission, no one else can stop you from fulfilling it. Your purpose becomes your drive, and everyone’s mission is unique. No two people share the exact same calling.
Take partnerships as an example. Two people can come together with the same goal in mind, but their approaches will differ. If they had done it solo, their paths and results would have been different too. However, together, they bring their unique strengths to achieve something greater.
So, ask yourself: Why are you doing what you’re doing? Why are you hesitating to execute your ideas? Are you afraid someone else will outshine you?
In my previous letter on imposter syndrome, I explained that we often focus more on our weaknesses than our strengths. If you haven’t read it, I encourage you to do so here.
Remember this: Your purpose is your why, and your mission is how you solve the problem using your unique, God-given calling. No two people are the same. Even within your own family, between you and your siblings, each person is different. Even identical twins have unique ways of doing things!
Now, let me ask you:

What’s holding you back? Fear of what people will say? Worries that the market is oversaturated? Please stop and reflect. What’s your purpose? What’s your mission?
You don’t have to journey through this alone. Ask God, and He will reveal how to navigate this path.
If you continue reading my letters, I’ll share how God defied the odds for me, how He revealed my purpose, and brought me the conviction to pursue my mission—even when I wasn’t sure what lay ahead. Did I face challenges? Absolutely. But I’ll tell you how I knew this was the path for me.
This message may not be for everyone, but for those who are faith-driven—people who build their values on the Word and trust that God holds the answers to our earthly challenges.
Before I bring you these lessons, I encourage you to spend some time with God. Ask Him to show you your purpose and mission. Tell Him what’s been weighing on your heart, and ask Him to reveal the people He’s sending you to—your target market, so to speak.
I’ll stop here for now. Enjoy your weekend, and until I write to you again…
Your friend on this journey of light,
Queen
