Preferred by Nature™: why did we get certified?

Our Preferred by Nature™ certification is the result of a joint effort of the different operational areas at the regional level. It was a continuous work in synergy, seeking to improve our operation to offer travelers experiences that follow high quality and sustainability standards.

"We decided to start the certification plan because it represents an opportunity to improve and update processes to have a unified first-level operation in our six destinations," explains Angel Grandez, Condor Travel Operations Manager.

For three months, the operational leaders in Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Bolivia took part in this project with great dedication and attention to detail. By complying with improved environmental, socio-cultural, and business standards, the certification eases the implementation of an internal sustainable management system that encompasses all levels of the company.

“It is always gratifying to see the effort made have an achievement and to be able to connect with colleagues from other regions. However, what fills us with the most satisfaction is knowing that we are contributing to the construction of more responsible tourism and joining our clients, travelers, and suppliers in this journey with a positive impact”, adds Angel. It is part of our DNA as Condor Travel.

Our certification is only the first step. The biggest challenge has already begun: consolidating our commitment to the future of tourism, training, and sharing our experience with responsibility and with a positive impact.
