Preparing for 2025: Key Updates

As we approach 2025, we want to express our sincere thanks for your continued support of Resilience First. Your engagement, whether as a member or part of our broader community, has been key to our shared success.

Looking ahead, we’ll focus on:

  • Developing our Model for Organisational Resilience
  • Adapting to geostrategic shifts and technological acceleration
  • Enabling the private sector to lead in climate adaptation and resilience

These will be supported by a growing programme of events throughout the new year.

Below, you will find the latest updates from Resilience First.

We look forward to collaborating with you in 2025 and wish you a wonderful festive season and a resilient, prosperous New Year!

Geostrategic Programme Launch

On Monday 16 December we held the opening session of our Geostrategic Resilience Programme supported by PwC. This programme helps Resilience First members strengthen their resilience capabilities in a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape.

The virtual discussion Geostrategic Resilience: Adapting Business Strategies Post-Election brought together thought leaders from the private sector, government and academia to delve into the key implications of the US Presidential election results.

If you missed the session (which was available to all), you can watch the recording here.

New Model for Organisational Resilience

Resilience First, in collaboration with Cranfield University, has unveiled a groundbreaking new Model for Organisational Resilience.

This innovative model is the first integrated, measurement-driven approach designed to strengthen your organisation's resilience. It introduces a comprehensive framework built around five key dimensions: social, financial, workforce, infrastructure and environment. Together, these elements form the backbone of a strategic business approach that empowers organisations to:

  • Anticipate change and address vulnerabilities proactively
  • Absorb impacts of change or disruption effectively
  • Adapt strategy and business model to a changed or changing context.

This model not only provides a clear pathway to resilience but ensures that your organisation is equipped to face any challenges that may arise with confidence.
