This year’s World Mental Health Day theme, “It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace”, is a powerful reminder that our well-being matters, both inside and outside the office.
At Exclaimer, we take this responsibility seriously, knowing that fostering a healthy and supportive workplace is crucial for our company success and the growth of our people.
Prioritizing mental health at Exclaimer
We’re proud to say that mental health isn’t just something we talk about once a year - it’s embedded into our company culture. Through our dedicated wellbeing team, Exclaimer Thrive, we aim to make wellness accessible and part of our everyday work lives. The Thrive team organizes activities, wellness resources, and support networks to ensure that everyone has the space and opportunity to nurture their mental health.
We also understand how individual self-care plays a huge role in mental wellbeing. That’s why we offer all our employees access to the Calm app, providing a simple way to practice mindfulness, manage stress, and improve sleep.
We also provide access to Blinkist for personal development and learning, along with gym memberships and fitness classes for physical wellbeing, because physical and mental health are so closely connected. It’s our way of encouraging everyone to make time for themselves and to recharge when needed.
Wellbeing through learning and growth
Wellbeing extends beyond stress management, as it also creates fulfilment and connection. Our Business Book Club and Fiction Book Club support positive mental health by fostering a sense of community among our team members.

Fostering inclusivity for mental health
We also recognize that feeling seen, heard, and included is essential for mental wellbeing. That’s why we’re committed to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within our workplace.
We recently had our first DEI training session and will be doing more in the future to ensure that everyone at Exclaimer feels like they belong. Creating an inclusive culture is fundamental to making our workplace a safe and supportive space for everyone.
This World Mental Health Day let’s all prioritize mental health in the workplace. Our company initiatives are all steps toward making mental health an ongoing focus, rather than an afterthought.
