A Puppet Retires, Another Is Hired: The Depressing History of Indian Judiciary
It is the Hope and Justice That Died Under the Tenure of Chief Justice of India D. Y. Chandrachud's watch:
[DISCLAIMER] Reason for publishing this article in a mental health and awareness newsletter: if the masses feel fear and lack of freedom, they are deprived of their fundamental rights to free speech, library, religion, and protesting against bad police, politics, and policies. Such a fearful environment creates unsafe conditions and mistrust among government workers and citizens, which increases panic, community issues, mental health issues, mass torture, and health issues in minorities and falsely imprisoned people.
The local newspaper and Independent YouTube anchors have reported on numerous occasions that thousands of bright academicians and scholars, honest journalists, social activists who are against the expansion of businesses in tribal areas without proper rehabilitation, and dissenters are still being held in jails. Many of these cases are being filled by a team of Prime Minister of India (@Narendra-Modi), and they are not being given a chance to defend themselves or even be granted bail.
The PMO and Home Minister of India have accused numerous individuals in #BhimaKoregaon and have incarcerated them. These individuals have yet to be released, as if justice is a distributable good. The health of some of the acused in this case has been neglected, resulting in their death in the absence of medicine and care, in the poor conditions of jail.
In addition, the Prime Minister Office of India (PMO) has successfully monopolized the judiciary and saffronisation of it it by appointing judges and members of the election commission from the ideology and background of BJP and RSS individuals. Consequently, the 2024 election was robbed, and the Supreme Court, under the leadership of Saffron Judge D. Y. Chandrachud, did not take any action to halt the damage to the democracy.

🚫 The SEBI (#Hindenberg) and #Pegasus investigations were never completed to a reasonable conclusion, and the #electoralbonds Judgment necessitated the termination of a scheme that had begun to resemble a sovereign extortion.
🙊 He refrained from commenting, but he observed that certain High Courts were becoming increasingly politicized. Their judges were openly declaring their devotion to particular religions and incorporating religious bias into their decisions.

🙆🏽♂️ Literate Indians are left scratching their heads, wondering why the comedian Kunal Kamra dubbed the Indian Supreme Court as the Supreme Kotha.
So, it turns out you can buy justice from these experienced judges for less than what you would shell out for a round trip to the USA. Who knew the scales of justice had a discount section?
