🌍 What’s hot in the digital world? - A broad core update of Google's SEO algorithms
The second Google search algorithm update of the year, aimed at improving the quality of search results, was completed on September 7.
Although Google hasn't been disclosing the exact details of these changes, it however encouraged content creators to provide useful, reliable and human-centered content to improve their visibility on search engines. It emphasized that Google's automated ranking systems aim to prioritize information that is authentic and created to help users, rather than to manipulate a site's ranking.
Website owners were also advised to monitor their site's performance after the update, particularly in the event of a drop in traffic, while stressing the importance of quality content in line with their guidelines. In addition, Google also clarified that the update does not necessarily indicate errors on the pages concerned.
