Mad men in the actual sense of it are people who have lost their senses, funny enough we have categories of mad men, and I will sub-divide it into two major segments:

(a)   The Normal Mad Men

(b)  The Real Mad Men

Let’s address the first segment; the normal mad men are those you see on the streets or in the psychiatric hospitals, who don’t know what they are doing anymore, but that is not where we are going.

The real mad men in Nigeria still talks very accurately with their medulla oblongata still working, in fact they live in the finest houses, drives the best cars, rides the latest private jets, well protected with a large numbers of security men surrounding them and even have a huge numbers of die-hard followers, the question is what makes them the real mad men? Simple, the source of their wealth, how they accumulated such gigantic wealth is the determining factor if the person is mad or not.

A good number of Nigeria wealthiest class are actually mad people! , the Yoruba calls some people (were alaso) meaning mad men in clothes. If you look at what some of our politicians, business men and elite class are doing to get money then you will know that they are really mad people, for examples; killings of hundreds of people for rituals in other to win election, stealing of billions of Nigerian money meant for the masses hereby creating high level of unemployment which leads to increase in crime rate which is equivalent to increases in death rates, constructions of very poor infrastructural projects, selling of fake products, keeping money in burial grounds, houses, shops and sock away. From these you will realize that some of the real mad men are actually in Abuja, to be precise some are in Aso rock (Government house) and various government houses all over the country.

The next time somebody points to a mad man on the road for you to notice, tell such a person that they are mistaken, that those are the normal mad men (which I pray for healing for all of them) but let the person know that the real mad men are the ones we sometimes see on television screen ruling our nation (I pray for judgment upon all the unrepentant ones)

When next you try to steal money or commit any of these crimes all in the name of money, make sure you realize that you have just took your first step into real madness, which will only end in judgment and pain.
