Recent attempts to gain attention and learnings from Hormozi, Dan Koe, and LinkedIn Top Voices.

I've been consistently active on LinkedIn for four years with less-than-stellar results. Despite the frustrations, I'm curious about when success in the way I envision it will come.

I'll share a few things I've learned this week from my experience with the leaders I mentioned above and then offer a step forward.

I've become a community Top Voice, which I got by commenting on articles that LinkedIn publishes. The real Top Voices don't include me in the club. They were awarded the honor.

When my inner tortoise runs the show, I'm content. That is mostly, but not always the case. When I feel frustrated, I observe everything, keep going, and learn from others.

This is why I keep going with content.

Without being visible, my vision collapses. It doesn't have to be on social media, but people must know me, or I'll be alone in my field of dreams.

Watching others with less experience and insight succeed hurts but does not impact me or change my actions. My entrepreneurial experience goes beyond a few companies, and is extensive, deep, and covers hundreds of industries, business models, and success stories.

This divergence between visibility and quality runs true to the pattern of my life. I've never been an insider and always been an outsider. The difference is that now I'm happy about it.

I've battled since I was a kid joining any group, company, or clique that requires me to conform to the beliefs adopted as true by the group.

My life has been a struggle to unlock my truth and not compromise. It's the red pill path to success, but this road less traveled leads to satisfaction and happiness. I'm firmly on it now.

Freedom unlocks the key to getting what I want and feeling great. This is my secret weapon and why I can keep going, as overnight success is inevitable and will come when it's time.

Here is what freedom feels like today.

🔍 Fluidity comes from being aware of myself, why I'm here, and what I want for life and business.

🔍 Fulfillment results as nothing feels missing, as my inner-directed approach completes me, not what I get in the form of results from the world.

🔍 Connection to the intelligence inside came when I questioned my beliefs and released the burdens that kept me enmeshed in society's confusion matrix.

Clarity of vision allows me to open the gift inside me and bring it into the world, feeling a sense of enjoyment and meaning regardless of the validation from popularity.

It's a stark reality I've got to get known to fulfill my purpose in this mad world of scrolling social media and short attention spans.

I mostly learn from people like Socrates, Yogananda, and Charlie Munger, but people like Alex Hormozi, Dan Koe, and the Top Voices on LinkedIn won my game, so I watch them.

This is what I noticed this week about the content game winners:

🔑 Engage fearlessly from a place of clarity, confidence, and certainty as a leader in your experience, refusing to compromise anything when writing or speaking in public.

🔑 Know yourself well enough to avoid copying others regarding presentation style, content approach, or flair needed to get attention, retain attention, and build connection.

🔑 Ruthlessly edit yourself and eliminate anything confusing, tangential, or not relevant to your core aim, although integrating what's personal in the right way must be present.

Here is the simple truth that I've discovered about the battle between popularity and freedom.

Popularity is awarded to those who act like themselves without fear of not being popular. This is what LinkedIn did in how they selected their Top Voice crowd. It's what I'm doing.
