Recharge and Refocus: Preparing for an Epic 2025

Apologies for missing the last two weeks of newsletters as I was speaking at a two day event and hosting my workshops in London we forgot to hit send!

But as we approach the end of the year and the busy festive season, there’s a common thread in my conversations with coaches and service-based business owners: exhaustion.

This year has been transformative for many, myself included, with incredible milestones, new opportunities, and challenges. From launching the Iconic Wealth Money Club and running live events to celebrating countless client wins, it’s been a whirlwind—but also undeniably tiring.

I've also had the privilege of hosting the 2nd Annual Iconic Wealth for Women event, which brought together over 120 incredible women. I took shared ownership of MYP Golf, a fantastic opportunity to diversify and expand my own wealth.

On the personal front, it’s been a time of recalibration: downtime recovering from surgery, focusing on my health (losing 4.5 stone so far), and regaining my fitness. It’s been a year of transformation in every sense of the word.

The truth is, this year has been a season of transition, change, and navigating external factors for many of us. So, as we gear up for 2025, it’s essential to take time to recharge, refocus, and realign with our goals.

Here are my go-to strategies to re-energise and enter the new year feeling inspired and ready to take on whatever comes next.

1. Gain Clarity

When you’re clear about your goals, priorities, and the steps to achieve them, everything feels more manageable. Take some time to reflect on what worked this year, what didn’t, and where you want to go next. Also what do you need to ditch & let go of!  With clarity comes ease—and that ease fuels sustainable growth.

2. Take a Technology Detox

As someone who lives online, stepping away from screens is a non-negotiable for me during this period. Try going 24 hours without your phone or laptop (yes, you’ll survive!). Instead, immerse yourself in nature or enjoy offline activities like drawing, dancing, or simply being present. The mental reset is transformative.

3. Declutter Everything

Decluttering isn’t just about physical or digital spaces—it’s also about streamlining your systems and processes. Forbes reports that businesses using streamlined workflows see a significant boost in efficiency, with up to 494% higher customer engagement rates when employing an omnichannel approach.

As we gear up for 2025, this is the perfect time to clean out old emails, update systems, and refine processes. Clear, uncluttered spaces—both physical and operational—allow fresh energy and new opportunities to flow in.

4. Journal and Meditate

Carve out quiet moments to journal and meditate. Research shows these practices help reduce stress, boost creativity, and improve focus. Start with journaling prompts like reflecting on your biggest wins, challenges, and aspirations for the year ahead. Pair this with meditation to clear your mind and let go of lingering energy that no longer serves you. Together, these activities form a powerful foundation for clarity and renewal.

5. Get Creative

Once you’ve allowed yourself to unwind, let your creativity flow. Grab a blank sheet of paper and brainstorm, sketch, or write down ideas for the new year. For me, this means finally finishing one of my books! Whatever your outlet, let it energise and inspire you. Also take away and money/resource restrictions - what would you do, be, create if their were no limitations!

Make Time for You

Beyond these tips, remember to prioritise you. Whether it’s a long bath, a spa day, lighting a candle while journaling, or dancing to your favourite music, find what lights you up and make space for it. If you’re juggling family, friends, business, and social commitments, carving out time for yourself isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. Trust me, the people around you will thank you for it.
