Virtual Human Resources Services Limited is a Human Resource Consulting Company with a team of professionals who are trained to handle credible end-to-end recruitment processes. We purpose to source for the right candidates to match our client needs, and to achieve this we embark on the following steps:
1. Recruitment Services Proposal and Agreement – The recruitment process starts at this stage where once the client requests our recruitment services and shares details of the vacant positions, we prepare a detailed recruitment proposal that outlines our recruitment process. The proposal also gives a summary of the work plan and timelines. Upon approval of the proposal, we prepare a Recruitment Services Agreement that is signed by both parties.
2. Job Advert Preparation – The client shares the job description (s) for the respective role (s) that we use to prepare the job advertisements. For vacant positions that do not have existing job descriptions (JDs), we assist the client in designing the same.
3. Job Advertisement –We post the job advert (s) on our website, different social media platforms, and other sites as agreed with the client to ensure that we attract a large pool of candidates. This way, we increase the chances of acquiring the most suitable candidates for the job.
4. Screening, Longlisting, and Shortlisting of Candidates– Once we receive applications from candidates, the next step is thorough screening and longlisting of candidates. Here, we review all applications received vis-a-vis the job requirements. Thereafter, we shortlist applicants whose skills and competencies match those outlined in the job description.

5. Interviews – This is a process that enables us to determine if the applicant’s skills, and experience meet the requirements. We have a flexible interview process where the candidates have options of either attending the first-level interview physically or we conduct the interviews virtually. After we conduct the first-level interview, we prepare an interview report and share it with our client, attaching the candidate’s CVs. Our client conducts the second level and any subsequent interviews. After the client has selected their preferred candidate(s), they share the candidates’ details with us to facilitate the next step of the recruitment process.
6. Reference Checks – This is a crucial process that we undertake before our client extends employment offer (s) to the successful candidate (s). We do this to gather more information about the candidate’s competency from other sources other than the candidate. Our process entails checking detailed information about the candidates’ previous employment history, skills, behavioral competencies, and employability. Once we receive satisfactory reference feedback, we share the feedback with our clients so that they can extend the offer to the successful candidate. We also notify our client of any red flags in the reference check feedback received from the referees.
Important note: When conducting reference checks, we are guided by the Data Protection Act of Kenya (2019). We seek the approval of the candidate (s) to conduct reference checks on them before beginning the process.
