Reflecting over the past 12 months...

The last financial year has been eventful, with many incredible achievements and learnings. I’ve taken some time to reflect on the lessons learned, the successes we have achieved, as well as what to focus on in FY25. Here are my key five takeaways:

1. Investing in Relationships

Without a doubt, building and evolving relationships continues to be incredibly important. At our recent EMEA Alliances Summit, we brought together over 200 leaders, creating a fantastic opportunity for everyone to connect, share insights, and spark new ideas for the year ahead.

Whether it’s face-to-face or online, every connection we make helps us push our EMEA and German alliance businesses to new heights in the era of tech innovation and transformation.

2. Visibility is Key

Attending major tech events has been crucial for us – they're not just opportunities to strengthen our alliance relationships but also platforms to showcase our unique insights, specialties, and real-life client success stories, while strengthening our perception in the market.

These events allow us to connect with key decision-makers on a personal level, showing them firsthand how we can collaborate to drive real change for their businesses.

3. Embrace Emerging Tech

Technology is evolving rapidly, particularly in the advancement of AI. Our latest PwC survey tells us that 45% of CEOs believe their companies won’t be viable in the next 10 years without embracing these innovations. So, it’s clear that integrating new technologies isn’t just an option anymore - it’s crucial for survival and growth.

I'm proud that our teams are embracing being the leaders and orchestrators of driving change and transformation for our clients – and are acting now to help make that change. There's so much more we aspire to achieve together on this journey of innovation and growth.

4. Riding the Wave of Social Megatrends

We’re living in times of economic uncertainty and significant social changes, such as climate change, demographic shifts, and other societal megatrends. These forces are reshaping our societies, but also placing pressure on C-suite leaders to balance short-term profitability with long-term viability.

I take pride in our approach - an ethos that blends human leadership with tech innovation - to guide our clients through their transformation journeys in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

5. Celebrating Our Achievements

Celebrating our achievements is so important, especially after all the hard work and challenges that have been tackled. This year, I've seen amazing teamwork and dedication from our people. For me, highlighting the progress and contributions of our team members has been a real highlight.

Taking the time to celebrate awards and achievements not only lifts everyone's spirits but also shows our dedication to always improving and striving for excellence.

Looking Ahead to FY25

Moving forward, these key takeaways will guide us, especially in embracing an entrepreneurial spirit in an uncertain world. It’s about building strong relationships, staying visible, adopting emerging technologies, adapting to social megatrends, and celebrating our successes - these will all be central to our strategy.

I’m genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead and confident that we’re well-prepared to navigate the future with resilience and innovation.

I look forward to our teams pushing boundaries, developing new paths, and achieving great things together in FY25!
