Reset, Refocus and Re-design your Lifestyle

I’ve been involved in the health and fitness space for over 20 years now, yet still January is dominated by fads, quick fixes and short-termism.

I understand these things can be tempting and I’m also aware that I don’t want to quash people’s enthusiasm for their health and fitness

But deep down I know it doesn’t work and it’s not the way to make real change

I know you do too.

The other thing that bothers me about the whole “New Year’s Resolution” / “Intensive” / “Bootcamp” / “30 day” / “Body Blitz” call it what you will, is that it diminishes what “true health” really is…let me explain…

There’s so much more to health; so many more benefits, physically, mentally and emotionally that you just wont tap into - even if you do make it through a 30 day “intensive” programme.

Many of these benefits are only reaped after many months of consistency and repetition, but the good news is that once you get there they begin to compound and to invigorate, enable and enhance every area of your life

They transcend most people’s definition of “health”

Whilst in 30 days you might be able to force a bit of change upon your body, the type of long-term transformation I’m talking about involves larger scale change.

There comes a point in life when it’s time to rethink and redesign your lifestyle from the ground up to make health an integral part.

I know in some ways this might sound equally, or perhaps even more dramatic than your 30 day intensive programme, but how you experience it and making it happen doesn’t have to be.

Done intelligently, you can break it down into stages and steps and follow a process. 

Like building a house, a business, or a marriage.

That way, you build something solid that will last a lifetime.

Ultimately, this is what we aim for when working with our clients

But first you need a vision…and then you need a plan!

One of the things I’m most excited about this year is running our first retreat where you will have the opportunity to join us and create both of those things.

This is no weekend Bootcamp where you come along, get hot and sweaty, release some endorphins and then go back to normal on Monday.

Whilst we will do a bit of that, you’ll also be catered for by Michelin level chefs, hosted in luxury accommodation in The Cotswolds and hear from experts in Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep and Stress Management.

But most importantly, it will be wrapped in a process to help you create that long-term vision for your health and lifestyle and the personalised plan to make sure it happens.

So if you’ve reached that point where you know it's time to change your lifestyle, this could be the perfect opportunity to reset and refocus.
