Be rich, Be Ambitious, Have power
Do we really want to be rich, to be ambitious, to have power or influence?
The first answer for most of us is: "Yes"
Then a second question would be: What does really matter for us?" Here the answers start to be more complicated, then to help us to find a better way we should define what really matters, is it family or health or friends or job or sport or a mix of all of them.
By answering this simple questions we start a process and it is about this process that i would like to share some points together:
- Define the boundary of your success: none can be good at everything at the same time and at the same level. Be sure to define your field of success.
- If you want to be effective in your life, you need to work on it and the first point is to have a goal, a strategy and a plan to implement it. You are your own standard, commit yourself to improve every day a little bit.
- You have to be brave: if you are not brave then you cannot realize anything. What does it mean to be brave? It means to do not be scared to have your hands dirty. No perfume is better than the perfume of working hands. By being brave you have to remember that you need also to be responsible of your actions.
- Then you have to remember that you live in an ecosystem where you interact with others. Are others good or bad? They are good and they are bad, depending if your goals are aligned with their targets.
- Your health and well being is also a key points: you cannot reach any goal if this pillar of life is not well rooted and taken under consideration. Invest on yourself.
- The right service to others attitude: remember that to be at other service does not mean you are the victim unless this is your goal: to live a life long martyrdoom. To serve other means to help them within your way.
- Keep attention to your words: as they say in English "Words are bones". Every single words you say they have impact on others. We can generate ripple in others life and the more elevated and influencing is your position the more this effect is deeper and more can destroy other lives.
- Be aware that every change requires effort and to change something most of the time you do not need a revolution but small routinary changes.
- Have always a deep reasons for each action you perform: not always we can act as teenager, we need to be able to have the " how, why, what, when, where, who" for each or our effort.
Conclusions
Very often we forget what is behind the dreams we have, however the points above should help all of us to be our best and to do our best, the rest will come alone.
