Rio 2016 Technology has just completed the last integrated tests before Games Time. After the succes of Technical Rehearsal 1 on March, this time over 20 venues and one thousand people have participated on the simulation - probably Rio2016 largest Operational Readiness exercise.
Several scenarios were triggered affecting all Technology services and operations - from IT Security to Results Systems and Games Network. The purpose is to test the readiness of each venue, teams, processes and rehearse communication on critical situations amongs all levels and parties.
Technical Rehearsals are the final stage of years of planning and preparation on a readiness journey that began with the Test Events and it is an invaluable opportunity to have everything ready before the Opening Cerimony in August 5th.
