Hospital Transport is a group of underutilized team members in patient experience. These valued team members often have the patients undivided attention and can help to make significant progress in making the patients feel better. By training these team members to engage with patients, your organization will reap the patient experience benefits without incurring additional overhead.
Hospital Transporter:
"Good [morning/afternoon], [Patient's Name]. I hope you're feeling comfortable today.
Before we get started, I'd like to share a few things that might enhance your experience with us.
First, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. Please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance or if there's anything I can do to make your journey smoother.
Secondly, I want to assure you that we understand the importance of timely transport. We'll do our best to get you to your appointment on schedule so you can focus on what matters most – your health.
Lastly, I'm here to listen. If you have any concerns or questions during our journey, whether it's about the hospital or simply to have a chat, don't hesitate to engage with me.
