THE secret to being successful (& a proven framework you can follow)
Ever heard the riddle about the five frogs on a lily pad? One decides to leap off. How many frogs are left? If you said four, think again.
The answer is still five. Why? Because deciding to leap isn’t the same as actually jumping. This is a lot like the journey many advisors face.
Thinking about making a change—how to grow, achieve more, escape the grind—is one thing. But thinking about leaping isn't the same as taking that leap.
Even when we feel stuck on a treadmill, our brains are hardwired to avoid changing things up in the face of unnerving uncertainty.
The science says the best way to leap into new levels of success is to follow a framework that gives you the mindset and methods to succeed.
If you’re ready to stop sitting and start creating a wildly successful practice you love, join me on October 10 for a no-fluff webinar where I'll walk through the framework we've used to help lifestyle advisors build a $1M/100 days off practice and leaders of 7+ figure firms scale their success to new heights.
Until then, here’s a quick summary of the framework you can use to align your practice with your professional and personal goals:
1. Planning
“When the vision is clear, the decisions are easy.” Too often, advisors run their firms reactively without a clear plan for where they want to go. Without a vision, it’s impossible to prioritize the right actions. Define what success looks like for you—how big you want your firm to grow, what kind of clients you want to work with, and the lifestyle you want to create.
Ask yourself:
2. Positioning
If you're trying to serve everyone, over-extending compromises your ability to serve your clients and deliver value at the levels possible. Positioning is about narrowing your focus and identifying a differentiator or niche to drive faster growth and deeper client value.
Ask yourself:
3. Packaging
Clarifying the value they deliver poses a real challenge for most firms. Creating clear, concise, and compelling messaging to communicate the value you deliver to prospects and clients is essential to building a successful, profitable practice.
Ask yourself:
4. Promotion
It’s not enough to be great at what you do—you need to show up and stand out in a crowded marketplace. Promotion is about getting your message in front of the right people in the right way at the right time to create a steady pipeline of qualified prospects.

5. Process
Leveraging process to maximize advisor capacity and deliver deeper client value hyper-efficiently is the backbone a profitable practice. Streamlining and systematizing your processes creates consistency and efficiencies in marketing, onboarding, and service delivery to support high service level and efficient operations.
Ask yourself:
6. Platform
The right technology stack is essential to running a modern advisory firm. A strong platform lets you automate workflows, enhance client experiences, and scale your operations. Ensure you’re using tools that align with your current needs and future goals.
Ask yourself:
7. People
Having the right people in place to leverage your time and talent to the utmost is critical to driving growth and optimizing your practice. Whether you're a small practice hiring first part-time help or the leader of a growing firm struggling to manage advisor capacity, having the right structure and people is critical to building and growing a successful firm
Ask yourself:
Take Adam and Kathy, for example. Before they leaped, Adam had been stuck at $225K for too many years. Kathy was doing OK but wasn't growing the way she wanted and was burnt out from working 60 hour weeks.
With a framework to follow, Adam and Kathy clarified their vision, took back their time, redefined their structure, streamlined their operations, delivered deeper client value, and accelerated their growth.
One year later, Kathy took 60 days off to travel to 6 countries. Adam followed the framework to 5x his practice. Both leaped into the wildly successful $1M+ practices with the income, time off, and freedom they wanted.
If you’re interested in learning more about how they did it, you can join me on October 10 for a 90-minute, no-fluff webinar where I’ll share the framework they followed (and how you can too).
This Monday’s Mojo is a reminder that it’s not having it all figured out that makes you successful - it’s the willingness to take the leap until you do.
No limits,
