Seeing through the trees
In autumn, nature gets rid of everything superfluous.
It never ceases to amaze me how when you look at the naked trees at the end of autumn and all through winter, you can see beyond and even see what you couldn’t see before: a house, a garden, a creek, the nests that were built in spring and summer and now are exposed…
Where in your work and life is there excess of anything?
And what would happen if you removed the fluff, the excess, the superfluous?
What would you be able to see?
This is the lesson of autumn:
To let go in order to see what cannot be seen in the activity and fullness of spring and summer.
Maybe it is a something you eat or drink too much.
Maybe it is something you buy in excess.
Maybe it is the superfluous “talk” you do.
Maybe it is the unnecessary fluff in your projects.
When we start removing things, what is hidden is revealed: in our projects, our relationships, in our material and financial life, in our emotional life.
Nature does this once a year in autumn, but we can do it more often. Specially before we set new goals or start our planning.
This is what we do in SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE, we remove the excess, the “too much”, the fluff so that we can see the path ahead of us reveal with ease and trust.💖
