Self-Imposed Poverty? 

Sadly, many people are on the path of self-imposed poverty.

Poverty is not the problem, poverty is the result of various problems.

When it comes to money, poor people have what they look at in opportunities, people with the wealthy mindset have what they look at in opportunities. The poor and the wealthy never see the same thing in an investment opportunity and or business opportunity. 

Follow me carefully

What do I mean by poverty is the result of the problem? 

Let me give an example, imagine two average income salary earners get married, instead of being intentional about birth control, they give birth to 4 to 5 children. Responsibilities have increased and their source of income (salary) remained the same or is even dropping. They don't have the mindset or skills to add other sources of making money. Instead of growing into wealth after marriage they grow into poverty. Therefore, their poverty is a result of poor family planning, poor skill set, poor mindset etc. 

According to United Nations-DESA, Poverty entails more than the lack of income and productive resources to ensure sustainable livelihoods. Its manifestations include hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination. 

Poverty mentality & ignorance is the foundation of poverty lifestyle. That's why I said many people are on the path of self-imposed poverty. Instead of shouting God forbid after reading this, go and change. We can change and grow. 

Poverty mentality and ignorance are holding many people back from living a full and happy life.

Hear this, when you are manifesting this poverty mentality your mindset is fixed on a strong belief that everything is hard to get, i.e. it’s difficult to make money, it is hard to succeed in career, I can never have a car, I cannot succeed in Africa and Cameroon and so on. Everything in life looks like a struggle or an uphill battle to anyone with poverty mentality and ignorance. 

With intentionality, the right knowledge and growth practice you can change this. You are responsible for who you become in this life. Not your family, not your government, you are the Chief Responsibility Officer of your life. 

Your thoughts, your perceptions, the kind of knowledge you have access to shape your decisions and beliefs which results in your reality. 

Hear this ooh, the amount of money you make or you can make is a measure of how much value we are adding to the world.
