What is endodontics?

In the centre of the tooth is the pulp with blood vessels and nerve. The pulp is located in one or more small canals.

When the pulp is irreversibly damaged, there is a risk of losing the tooth (devitalized). In this case, endodontic treatment is necessary = emptying, cleaning, shaping, disinfecting and sealing the canal(s) of the tooth.

The SETPREXOSML+FG kit contains three endodontic hand drills with an innovative design, suitable for all types of teeth: Prexo S, Prexo M and Prexo L.

Each instrument has two different sides for versatile use. The unique rounded tips are designed to compact the filling material with maximum control and precision. The tapered tips and very thin shafts allow you to better see your work under the microscope.

These pluggers are suitable for the compaction of gutta-percha and bioceramics (MTA).

The Prexo S, M and L endodontic rammer set is available with round silicone FG sleeves. Fixed colour coding.

Prexo S, M and L drills have been designed in collaboration with the Style Italiano Endodontics group.
