Open Call: Westway LAB 2025 (Portugal)

The much-anticipated moment for the music sector has arrived. Applications are now open for artists and music projects interested in participating in the artistic residencies and/or city showcases of the 2025 edition of the Westway LAB, which will take place from April 9 to 12 in Guimarães, anticipating the arrival of Spring. The artistic residencies bring together two to three artists (with at least one of them being of Portuguese nationality) in a shared creative space for eight days, from April 1 to 8, to develop original compositions together (which will be presented during the Westway LAB). The city showcases are free-access concerts held on the afternoon of Saturday, April 12, in various locations across the historic city center of Guimarães, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
