A Silent War: The Abuse of Millions of Women in Mexico
Dear Best of LinkedIn Reader,
In Mexico, the situation for women has descended into a living nightmare.
The statistics are nothing short of horrifying: in 2022, 3,754 women and girls were reported murdered.
Tragically, only 947 of those deaths were even investigated as femicides.
More shocking over 110,000 women and girls are missing in Mexico, their fates unknown, and the Mexican government has done little to change this grim reality.
These numbers tell a dark story, but the truth is even worse—a large multiple of the numbers above are unreported, meaning the real number of women victimized in this violence could easily reach into the millions.
Millions of women suffering at the hands of cartels, traffickers, and corrupt officials who view them as nothing more than commodities to be bought, sold, and discarded.
One of the most grotesque examples of this abuse is the recruitment of young girls into cartel activities. They are promised safety and power, only to be forced into a life of terror, sexual exploitation, and inhumane acts like the infamous “donkey shows," where young girls are forced to fornicate with animals.
These are not isolated incidents—they represent the systemic breakdown of Mexican society, where women are routinely trafficked and brutalized in ways that defy belief.
Psalm 82:3 reminds us, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed."
Yet, Mexico's institutions have failed to answer that call, allowing criminals to prey on women with impunity.
The cartels treat the Mexican female population like cattle, exploiting them for profit in ways that make your blood run cold.
Let’s be clear: the real number of women abused, trafficked, and killed is a number we don't really know!
Why?
Because most of these atrocities go unreported, lost in the chaos of a corrupt system that treats its women like disposable objects.
I would not be surprised if two million Mexican girls last year were killed or "captured."
Proverbs 31:8 reminds us, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves." But who will stand up for these women?
Who will fight for their rights, for their lives?
If we don’t, who will?
Iran?

Life for the average Mexican girl is pure hell.
This is not just a Mexican problem—it’s a global humanitarian crisis, and as Americans, we have a moral duty to help.
We can't say it's not our problem.
To say we don't give a damm, is Anti-God, Anti-Christ, and anything but Mindfully Ethical.
What will you do to make a difference?
Share your thoughts, speak out, and let’s take real action.
We cannot let millions more girls be lost to this depravity.
Comment below. Let's keep the conversation flowing.
Stay well. Swim Strong
Warmly,
David
