A SIMPLE REASON WHY YOUR WEBSITE IS NOT MAKING YOU ANY SALES.

A SIMPLE REASON WHY YOUR WEBSITE IS NOT MAKING YOU ANY SALES.

A SIMPLE REASON WHY YOUR WEBSITE IS NOT MAKING YOU ANY #SALES.

Imagine these 2 scenarios.

You are looking for a screwdriver🪛. You know it should be in the garage. You go there to look for it.

In scenario 1, the garage is cluttered and filled with junk. You have no idea where the screwdriver is located or where to start looking for it.

You feel overwhelmed and have no patience to go through all the junk to find it, as it would likely take you at least 15 minutes to identify it.

You decide to go to the shop and buy a new one instead.

In scenario 2, you open the garage door and find a clean, tidy, and spacious space.

Everything inside is neatly organized in labeled boxes. There is plenty of space to look around and scan the content on the shelves.

You see a container labeled 'Tools'. You open it, grab the screwdriver, and leave the garage in less than a minute. Mission accomplished!

Now, how is this relevant to your website not helping you make sales, you ask?

Well... sadly, most solopreneurs' websites – especially the DIY ones – resemble scenario 1.

There is no intentional strategy behind the #websitedesign. It is not clear who the services are for and how they can benefit. The content is scattered and difficult to browse. It seems like the information has been randomly dumped on the site without considering user experience, structure, or ease of navigation.

As a result, website visitors quickly lose interest and leave without spending much time. Needless to say, this does not lead to sales.

However, a website designed like scenario 2 attracts and engages people.

The goal is to make visitors spend more time on the website to establish the 'know, like, and trust' factor.

By organizing information intentionally, creating a clean and easy-to-navigate website, and guiding users to take the desired action, it is much more likely that they will become paying clients.

So the key to a converting website is to be intentional with the entire design process and start with a #website strategy centered around user #experience, rather than just focusing on aesthetics.

Make your website a place where the screwdriver can be easily found.

And people will be happy to pay you money in return.
