Sitges CB, creating emotional connections

We make Freddy Mercury’s motto our own, “Don’t stop me now, don’t stop me, ‘cause I’m having a good time”.

That’s right! As we wrap up the final quarter of 2024, we’re still going non-stop, creating emotions, working hard on the final projects of the year and looking ahead to our promotional activities in 2025.

This quarter, we held the Sitges CB Members’ Assembly and participated in three international market workshops, as well as the IBTM in Barcelona. We met with a total of 192 MICE industry professionals to present Sitges as a meeting destination, and we attended four events that gave us the opportunity to network with 286 eventprofs, most recently in Madrid with CCB, where we presented our destination and local traditions to 50 EMA event managers.

In collaboration with Eurostars Sitges, Meliá and KT Events/Hilton, we brought 128 event organisers to Sitges so that they could experience the destination first-hand.

And in this quarter alone, we’ve managed over 60 requests to hold events in Sitges and carried out two inspection visits for two different congresses, one to be held in 2025 and another in 2026, as well as one for an international convention.

Now, we’re taking the month of December to attend CCB and Spain CB training sessions and prepare our initiatives for 2025.  We’re already working with Hotel Calipolis to host the Break The Ice Forum from 25 to 27 March in Sitges.
