SNEC 2024 Recap: GoodWe shines with its market-oriented solar solutions, achieving breakthroughs in C&I storage

At SNEC 2024, held from June 13th to 15th, GoodWe unveiled its intelligent and versatile solutions for residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale solar applications. A standout was a brand-new all-in-one 261kWh cabinet tailored for businesses, addressing the increasing demand for C&I energy storage. The booth also drew significant attention with its one-stop solution for residential use and high-capacity string inverters for large-scale projects, strategically designed to reduce LOCE.

GoodWe’s well-established residential lineup, EcoSmart Home, was showcased in a home-like setting. This includes the new-generation on-grid inverter SDT G3 Series (8-30kW), a solar-storage combination with the hybrid inverter ES G2 series (3-6kW) and low-voltage battery Lynx U series (5.4-32.4kWh), Sunshine series BIPV panel, the HCA series EV charger, and the smart energy management system (SEMS). This setup exemplified a comprehensive household energy system, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Under the EcoSmart Commercial banner, GoodWe introduced a 125kW/261kWh integrated cabinet as a turnkey solution for diverse C&I applications, including peak-shaving, demand management, and backup power. The cabinet boasts a compact design, occupying just 1.47m², and achieves an efficiency of over 98.6%. It features 314Ah battery cells, offering a long lifespan of up to 8,000 cycles. Safety is paramount with incorporated intelligent liquid cooling, precise fire suppression at both pack and cluster levels, and customized explosion-proof devices. The integrated EMS function enables smart monitoring and quick response to demand-side needs. The overall system is designed for easy installation, operation, and maintenance, ensuring stable, efficient and flexible applications.

Two C&I string inverters, the SMT Series of up to 80kW and the 100-125kW GT series inverter, tailored for different C&I project requirements, also captured considerable attention due to their state-of-the-art design and ability to deliver a high return on investment for businesses.

Of particular interest at GoodWe’s booth was the demonstration of a carport under the zero-carbon transport concept. The solution includes the company’s latest BIPV product, Polaris Series, featuring rapid installation, waterproof, and resilience to harsh climates, along with the flagship hybrid inverter ET series (5kW-30kW), and the high-voltage modular battery Lynx F series (9.6-28.8kWh), offering a comprehensive solar-storage-charging solution.

In the utility sector, the interest in the UT series 320/350kW string inverter was high due to its efficiency, safety features, and smart operational capabilities. The inverter delivers benefits of reducing costs and boosting efficiency in ground-mounted power stations.

With the vision to drive the smart energy future, GoodWe has been dedicated to continuous innovation, offering smarter, more efficient, and reliable energy solutions to users globally. By pioneering renewable energy systems, the company aims to deliver economical, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions, thereby contributing to a sustainable future.
