Why?
Because creating and implementing marketing strategies is easier when you have a highly developed understanding of who you’re striving to reach. Marketing is more difficult today for small businesses because we don’t understand our target audience enough.
The most successful small businesses know their audience so well it’s not even funny. They know:

Remember, marketing is not only the act of promotion, it also encompasses the research necessary to understand the people or consumers who are being targeted.
Without understanding people, your business will either fail or take forever to grow.
