Troy Korsgaden returns to share his thoughts on how to re-invent ourselves to thrive in the new digital marketplace.
Troy is the President of Korsgaden International, which specializes in creating global marketing, distribution, agency building, and technology strategies for many of the world’s largest insurance carriers and financial services companies. As a consultant, speaker, and author of six books, Troy’s mission is to help the insurance industry wake up to the radical transformation taking place. He joins us to discuss his latest book, Inflection Point: Redefining Your Role in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry When the Existing Model No Longer Works.
Troy’s approach is summed by something he says early in our conversation, “We have to earn the right to offer solutions in the way of insurance and financial services.” Customers are in the driver’s seat like never before! We have to be prepared to contact them when and how they want AND have meaningful (to them) reasons for connecting. We also need to develop expertise partnerships to be able to respond to the full range of a client’s needs. Finally, Troy explains why it’s essential to ensure that everyone in your organization can clearly articulate your value proposition, so that they can, in turn, share that with current and prospective clients.
