Still time to apply for EPA Research Calls 2023 Re-opened Call Topics

📢 Calling all Irish environmental researchers!

Selected topics from the EPA Research Call 2023 have been re-opened under the following hubs:

  • Addressing Climate Change Evidence Needs (2 topics)
  • Facilitating a Green and Circular Economy (1 topic)
  • Protecting and Restoring our Natural Environment (2 topics)

Please note the shorter lead time for these topics, key dates are as follows:

  • Technical queries deadline: 7th July 2023 at 16:00 (Irish standard time) 
  • Applicant submission deadline: 12th July 2023 at 16:00 (Irish standard time) 
  • Organisational approval deadline: 17th July 2023 at 16:00 (Irish standard time)

Applicants are reminded to carefully check that they have selected the correct Call Topic Reference when creating their application. This must correspond to the Call Topic Reference in the Technical Description Document. Applications submitted with the incorrect Call Topic Reference will be considered ineligible.

All projects will receive proactive support from the EPA to transfer research to policy and achieve impact. Full details of the above opportunities are available on the EPA Research Call 2023 web page.

All applications must be submitted online using the EPA's Grant Management and Application Portal.
