Strategic Partnerships in the Global Steel Market

UTSTEEL is transforming the international trade of alloy steel through solid partnerships with industry leaders in steel production. Together, these great powers are making superalloy steel lines available in the international market, used in the military and aviation industries, characterized by their exceptional quality and performance.

“We have strong connections and relationships with the state-owned steel giants: Baosteel, Ansteel, and Longteng Special Steel. These relationships not only strengthen our position in the market but also enable us to provide top-notch technical support and ensure the exceptional quality of our products,” explains Gerry Cheng, Marketing Director at UTSTEEL.

In the automotive sector, for example, UTSTEEL supplies materials to renowned companies, and these partnerships have been crucial for the global expansion of the business.

“Currently, we are the sole representatives of ZHSD in the international market, and we have the privilege of working with a company that produces superalloy steel, a material used in China’s military and aviation industries, known for its high performance and superior quality,” Cheng emphasizes.

Due to these partnerships, UTSTEEL professionals acquire more knowledge and experience in production technology and innovation, and the company gains access to competitive resources, both in the supply of superalloy materials and high-quality tool steels.

For instance, ZHSD has invested in research and development, leading to the creation of the new material, SD400ESR, now widely applied in various industrial fields. Concurrently, UTSteel collects data, information, and user feedback, providing partners with many samples for research and development.

Moreover, the development of new materials such as SD400ESR and SD360ESR for automotive casting molds stands out as one of our principal projects, developed in collaboration with our partners. These initiatives not only enhance our technological capabilities but also enrich our experience in innovation and production," highlighted the Director.

Despite global economic challenges and increased competition, UTSteel is committed to strengthening partnerships and expanding its presence in the international market. The company is also investing in closer proximity to its partners and clients by establishing representatives in Europe, Indonesia, Mexico, and Brazil. This initiative aims to streamline communication channels and enhance the efficiency of technical support and after-sales service.

Currently, to become a partner of UTSTEEL, interested companies must meet the following criteria:

- Experienced technical teams,

- Advanced equipment,

- A stable quality control system,

- An excellent reputation,

- Competitive prices,

- And a strong production capacity.

“We are always seeking new collaborations and opportunities for innovation,” says the Director.
