An integrator told me earlier in the year that, in conversations with manufacturers, "if manufacturers don’t adhere to [sustainability] standards, we don’t deal with them anymore." While we have endured the talk and nodding heads of greenwashing, the fact of the matter is that without a financial incentive or penalty, the process simply doesn't take place on a large scale with morality alone.
