TAQ TAQ LIVES - SPEAKERS

This text summarizes our experience with Taq Taq Lives. We have already organized 11 lives, being 9 lives in Portuguese and 2 lives in English so far

Summary:

  • Lectures or Debates with up to 2 speakers
  • Various topics: networking, entrepreneurship, business, finance, international, technology, innovation, energy, renewable energies, culture, etc ...
  • Every Tuesday at 7pm for only 1h in Portuguese
  • Format:

40 min: lecture or debate

15 min: Q&A

5min: Super TAQ * and final remarks

(*) Super TAQ is the exchange of digital Taq Taq cards between all participants at the end of the event. Watch the tutorial videos on our website. We would be grateful if speakers can Super TAQ with us, organizers.

Requirements

To prepare the promotional material, we need the speaker (s) to inform us:

  • LinkedIN profile. We have to be connected to send an invitation;
  • Mini-bio;
  • Short title of the lecture or debate;
  • Topics to be presented;

Our learning (so far)

  1. We concentrate our promotion through LinkedIn´s events tool, as LinkedIn has a more selective audience and with business decision-making power;
  2. The more speakers the better, as LinkedIN allows each speaker + event organizer to send 1,000 invitations / week;
  3. The sooner (s) the speaker (s) start (s) to promote their live, the better, as the conversion rate is very high among members of his/her/their network(s). In addition, the more registered people in that event, the better to generate the herd effect of other guests´s check-in;
  4. LinkedIN offers the possibility of 2 mass submissions for those registered for the event. Thus, we will be able to make 2 shots in the week before the event and 2 more shots 48h / 24h before the event.
  5. If we have 2 speakers, sending video reminders of each one 28h / 24h pre-live give a more personal touch. #tip: mention only in this "next Thursday at 6pm CET sharp". Do not mention the date as it may change for some reason beyond our control, e.g., postponement of the live due to a technical problem or any other force majeure.
  6. Regarding videos, the ideal is that we have a minimum of 3 videos, namely:

  • 1st video: to be posted the week before the event in which the speaker presents him/herself, talks about theme, topics, encourages people to invite friends, say he/she wants to exchange his TaqTaq digital card with the entire audience;
  • 2nd video: 24h before the event with reminder of "it's tomorrow!" but encouraging to call friends etc ...
  • 3rd video: posted on the event´s morning saying "it's today!", Be online at the You Tube link (which will be informed in the text) and asking not to be late. Warn that the live will go offline within 48 hours after the event (we hope to increase adherence by the mental shortage trigger)

7. Share the live on your wall and in specific groups related to your theme. This also works well as a way to attract new connections, in addition to increasing your attractiveness as a professional and to increase number of contacts and followers;

8. To ensure an online presence, we have last-minute reminders. We note that there is a positive relationship between speaker´s previous action to boost his/her live and the number of registered people in the live.

9. Some ways to motivate subscribers to come online at the right time and stay with us from start to finish:

  • Post several polls before the event. Polls are valid for 1 day, 3, 7 or 14 days. Once the poll has been defined, we will no longer be able to change it.
  • Greet the subscribers via group chat and ask them to present their questions now;
  • Send warm-up videos encouraging a) invite peers, b) participate in polls and c) post questions in chats.

Our goal is to produce lives that reach a large number of subscribers and that have a very interesting online conversion rate so that we can honor our speakers.

Detail: we have observed that the speakers who prepare more dynamic presentations, with little text, many photos, videos and conduct it at a faster pace, manage to keep the audience connected for a longer time. #goodhint

The most important thing is to have a high conversion rate online. Therefore, any insight that speakers can share privately will be greatly appreciated and published here.

As a way to improve our learning, we will send a questionaire form to all those who have already enrolled in previous lives. Before sending, we will share it with speakers.
