Q1 projects wrap up
It’s been a great start to the year – in Q1 we completed some fantastic projects for a range of organisations in scholarly publishing. From market research and analysis to campaign implementation, we have supported our clients to meet their strategic goals.
Teaser: A standout project for us was creating a high-level organisational strategy for a journals marketing team as they transition to open access.
Key insights from Q2 events so far
It’s been a busy start to the quarter with some fantastic online events. Our Senior Consultants, Mithu and Kelly share their insights from:
“The Impact of Plan S” – an OASPA webinar which explored the early findings of research commissioned to measure the impact of Plan S implementation. The speakers explored OA models and strategic responses from publishers including the Royal Society of Chemistry, and more.
“AI and Beyond: A Vision for the Future of Publishing Technology” hosted by ALPSP, explored how artificial intelligence can streamline traditional publishing processes, and showcased uses cases like content classification and author profiling.
New case study: Marketing strategy and implementation
Last year, TBI created an extensive marketing plan for a multitouch campaign on behalf of an international STEM federation to raise awareness and increase registrations for their congress. The campaign was executed across six months on channels including social media and Google Ads and achieved significant impact:
- Over 10.5 million impressions
- Accounted for 46% of total traffic to site during the six-month period
