Toyota Yaris Facelift 2024 First Look Review
Finally, Indus Motors rolled out the long-awaited facelift of the Toyota Yaris, a popular sedan known for its fuel economy and affordable price structure. In 2020, the 1.3 variant of the Toyota Corolla was discontinued and replaced by the Yaris. This sub-compact sedan quickly took its place in the market and kept the sale at its peak for about three years. With this facelift, its manufacturer has considerably added plenty of updates in exterior, interior, and safety. Let’s check them out below.
2024 Yaris Exterior Changes
This new Yaris has received cosmetic changes, making it a lot sleeker on the eyes. Halogen lights have been replaced by Bi-Xenon projector headlamps consisting of both hi-beam and low-beam. DRLs have been made standard by the OEM. Front and back bumpers are now available in a gloss-black combination with an integrated radiator grill at the front.
Moving on to the side fascia, the 15-inch alloy wheels are the same as before, along with an aerodynamic spoke design and 15-inch tires. The side mirrors are now retractable with added side skirts. The rear profile is kept the same. There are plenty of badges, with the addition of rear parking sensors, contoured bumpers, and a shark fin antenna as before.
Improved Interior
If you go for a top-line variant, you will see a major difference in upholstery. The old combination of beige and black has been replaced by an all-black interior with white stitching. The roof liner is also grey now, and the steering wheel has a leather cover, which aims to enhance driving comfort.

Added Safety
The new 2024 Toyota Yaris has introduced Cruise Control as a standard feature among all variants. The color scheming of the instrument cluster panel has been changed, and Follow Me home feature has been added. This current Yaris now boasts a 9-inch floating infotainment screen along with an addition of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the number of airbags have been increased from 2 to 3. So now you get a knee airbag too.
Power and Pricing
There has been no change in power figures, as this sedan comes with the same engine options of 1.3 and 1.5 Litres, delivering 98 HP and 106 lb-ft of torque.
Toyota hasn’t yet announced the updated price, but we estimate that it will be a little over the current one, i.e., 6 Million.
