Traditional selling channels of email and phone are tried and true, but LinkedIn and other social channels can greatly increase sales performance.

Traditional selling channels of email and phone are tried and true, but LinkedIn and other social channels can greatly increase sales performance.

If you're trying to maximize the effectiveness of your LINKEDIN profile and you don't know what you should include...

Run through this checklist.

1. Credibility

Does the information speak to my accolades and add credibility to what I say I can do?

2. Searchability

Am I using keywords that are important to people who i'd want to find me?

3. Competition

Do other companies or candidates include similar information on their profiles? *A quick search will help you find out.

4. Informative

Does this information make it extremely clear to the people looking at my profile, what I've done, what I currently do and does it all tie into the story I want to tell?

If yes.

Include it.

If no.

Remove it.

▶ Agree? Disagree?
