Transform Your Team: Elevate Healthcare Quality and Consistency through International Nurses’ and Healthcare Assistants' Recruitment!

Is your private nursing home facing challenges in securing permanent nursing and healthcare staff? Or is your private hospital struggling to find specialized nurses to fill crucial roles? We understand the critical importance of having a dedicated and skilled healthcare team. That's why we're excited to introduce a cost-effective and efficient solution to meet your recruitment needs - International Nurses' and Healthcare Assistants' Recruitment.

Why International Nurses' Recruitment?

In this article, our CEO, Mathew James, addresses the most frequently asked questions that private healthcare organizations have about overseas nurses' recruitment.

1. How Long Does the Process Take?

The international recruitment process is a multi-step procedure encompassing language proficiency tests and competence assessments. From the issuance of the offer letter, it typically takes approximately 25 days to finalize the recruitment. A noteworthy example of efficiency within this timeframe is the successful recruitment of 30 Cardiothoracic Nurses at Plymouth NHS Trust. Notably, Ealoor Group of Companies adheres to a direct recruitment approach, abstaining from intermediaries or sub-agents. This strategic decision affords us complete control over the recruitment process, ensuring that all documentation is legitimate and meets the rigorous standards set by the NHS.

2. Who Can Recruit International Nurses?

To recruit international nurses, employers must hold a Sponsor License from the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Once secured, a Certificate of Sponsorship can be issued, allowing the recruitment of suitable candidates for permanent nurse vacancies. These nurses are committed to the employer for a minimum of 3 years, with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 years.

3. How Can I Navigate the Registration and Recruitment Process?

Navigating the complexities of overseas recruitment is made seamless with the assistance of trusted agencies like Ealoor Group of Companies. With over two decades of experience in recruiting nurses to the UK, we have a deep understanding of registration and immigration procedures. Our offices in India and the Middle East facilitate IELTS and CBT training, NMC registration, and visa processing, expediting the recruitment timeline. Our UK office provides essential support for OSCE training and pastoral care to ensure nurse retention.

4. What's the Appropriate Salary Range for Overseas Nurses?

Pre-registered nurses who have not yet completed their OSCE competence test should be compensated within the salary band of £22,549 - £25,914. Upon successful completion of the OSCE competence test, the salary band increases to £25,645 - £28,384.

5. Is it possible to recruit Healthcare Assistants from overseas?

Healthcare organizations in the UK are now able to recruit Senior Carers from international sources. These professionals are required to receive a minimum salary of £20,963 and can be granted sponsorship for a period of at least 3 years, with the potential for extension up to an additional 2 years. The individuals recruited through this program are Healthcare Assistants with registered nurse status in their home countries. Notably, there are established career pathways within the UK that allow these overseas nurses, initially employed as Senior Carers, to advance and transition into roles as registered nurses after 1-2 years of service in the UK.

Investing in international nurses’ and healthcare assistants' recruitment not only addresses your current staffing needs but also contributes to the long-term success and stability of your private healthcare organization. Partner with us to build a resilient and skilled healthcare team that will make a lasting impact on the quality of care you provide.
