Trust me, you want the Red Pill! by Robert Ricciardelli

"You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."―Morpheus "The Matrix"

“The blue pill symbolizes a life that is stuck within the reality one has accepted, without any knowledge of the systems and conditions that created that reality. Life is even keeled and remains normal in choosing the blue pill.

The red pill symbolizes an awakened life, a life choosing to know and willing to understand that there may be a man behind the curtain. Life becomes an adventure with beauty, challenges, successes, and failure, yet with truth and authentic meaning.

If we extend this to a philosophical standpoint, we are faced with the deeper meaning of the choice. Are we ok with living an ignorant life as long as we are happy? Or will we want to search and find the Truth, even when that Truth becomes a difficult pill to swallow?”

I wonder how many people would buy the blue pill instead of Tylenol PM or Melatonin? Or worse, buy the red pill and never take it? If only you could distribute these pills.... So many people create their own reality and thereby lack the motivation to pursue real goals in the real world. Great article.
