Uber is rolling out a frequent flyer-style reward program that allows riders to accumulate perks, thus encouraging customers not to use rivals such as Lyft. Available in nine U.S. cities, Uber Rewards will offer incentives such as fare discounts and priority airport pickups. Inflation continues to gain traction, with consumer prices, excluding energy and food, rising 0.2% in October from September the fastest pace in three months. Levi Strauss & Co is planning an initial public offering valued upwards of $5 billion, reports CNBC. The 145-year old San Francisco-based clothing company has tapped Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan to manage the deal, planned for the first quarter of 2019. Levi’s entered the public market in 1971 and was taken private in 1984 by Strauss’s descendants, who currently control the company. Denver International Airport has been rated the best airport in the U.S., according to The Wall Street Journal’s U.S. Airport Rankings list. Twenty of the nation’s biggest airports were evaluated for everything from security-line efficiency to Wi-Fi potency, culinary quality and ground transportation. Denver beat Orlando and Phoenix for top spot, due to high marks in value and convenience. Personally, I find no value in Lyft or Uber.  That kind of service has never interested me a bit.  So, I'm not the customer Uber is looking for.
