Untold stories, unique moments and shared experiences

Untold stories, unique moments and shared experiences

It was last Friday ...

... when we got together to share a bit of ourselves for others to take it and see how this puzzle piece can be useful in their lives.

I want to thank, recap and remember the time when we came together. Six of us shared special moments of our lives when we (needed to) turn stories of (perceived?) failure into a resource, a gift and gained power.

A daunting task?

It needs courage to take a closer look. You will be rewarded with gold at the "end". It will become your most value competency, I promise. It will allow you to fly.

I asked for an untold story and experience of learning

Promised in my communication around the announcement of our event I want to share a bit about what they spoke about, and a sneak peak into the stories of Lani, Nancy, Norma, Chris and Jackson.

They told me that they were impressed by their own courage and what taking part in our sharing would do to them emotionally.

LANI KIM

Lani is a California native and mom who grew up thinking that not being able to execute on your plans were an indication of failure. Her self-identity was greatly challenged going from a high-achieving adolescent to a failing college student. Lani developed a personal way to approach challenging situations that help her create a safety zone so she is prepared for anything.

NORMA FRAHN

Norma feared failure until she was fifty years old. She found it a difficult way to live, when you constantly feel like you can do so much more or be so much more but you're too afraid because you're afraid to fail. When her son had an accident that left him paralyzed, it marked a time of great change in her life that she did not imagine.

NANCY SAWYER

Nancy used to own a clothing line. No matter what she did and how many contacts she made with buyers, she struggled to get sales past a certain level. Until she was asked: Do you really want to sell clothes? The answer to this question has enormous consequences. Nancy is ready to pivot again.

JACKSON TAN

After 18 years, over a beer in Beijing, Jackson`s entire world came crumbling down when he was let go by the new CEO of the company which he built their Asia's business from scratch. Being jobless from that moment onwards made him feel like he failed his wife, his children and himself. This was the moment he drew down heavily from his various emotional bank account that were created many years ago without the intention of any withdrawals.

CHRIS WEALS

For Chris it is the anniversary of an accident he had when he was 16 years old driving a truck off a cliff with two of his best friends with him in the truck in the foothills near where he lived. Chris deeply cares for sharing the lesson that we need to ask for help to not get stuck in

THANK YOU FOR THIS EXCEPTIONALLY POWERFUL SESSION

Lani Kim, Norma Frahn, Nancy Sawyer, Chris Weals, Jackson Tan

Eternally grateful

Love
