Unveiling My Story, An Odyssey in Empowerment.

8 years ago, the concept of a plural career was as foreign to me as the land I had come to call home. In the aftermath of a financial earthquake that shook my world—a crippling divorce—I found myself a solo mum and an outsider in the UK, grasping for stability. But an only child living across 3 continents and from Africa mean my survival instincts were innate and are curious things; they often lead us down paths we never anticipated. For me, that path became a mission to empower others through innovative investment and education in healthy sexualities.

The journey began not with a map, but with a realisation that my own healthy sexuality, and agency over my body, mind, and finances, were the secret ingredients to joy and a purposeful life. This epiphany was the catalyst for what would become a multifaceted career championing sexual health and women’s health initiatives.

In the landscape of this professional error, there were no clear signposts or bustling marketplaces to guide me. No North Star beckoned save for the principles that investment, innovation, and education must underpin the foundation I sought to build. These tenets fueled my ambition and became the bedrock upon which I would construct a new, purpose-driven existence.

Fast forward to today, and you’ll find the fruits of this once-unseen labor in my creation of Health Pleasure Group — a solitary agency aimed at guiding brands in sexual health and wellness from inception to scale. Now, in our 6th year it serves as a nexus of education, standing at the epicenter from where I voice my expertise on global stages and boardrooms, and where we have built a robust near tens of millions equity portfolio in brands we champion with pride.

You can see it in Amboy Street Ventures, where I proudly serve as General Partner and lead in commercial and value enhancement. Here, we invest exclusively in sexual and women's health pioneers, recognising the profound impact these ventures have on society’s well-being.

But the tapestry of this plural career is woven with more than just the threads of venture capital and brand consultancy. Enter minthub—the only white label innovation hub of its kind, offering products and solutions tailored to our intimate needs across all life stages. minthub is the embodiment of Dr Maria Peraza Godoy ( my soul sister and partner) and my commitment to address the often-ignored or stigmatised facets of health, delivering dignity and delight through thoughtful innovation.

This plural career, born from necessity, has evolved into a vibrant ecosystem of companies and initiatives, each one a testament to the transformative power of addressing human needs with boldness and compassion. The roles I assume —Investor, Advisor, Consultant, Educator, Innovator—interlock to form a unique professional identity dedicated to enhancing sexual and women's health.

The road to this point was unpaved and uncertain. There were no predecessors to emulate, no industry standards to follow. Yet, in the absence of a clear path, I found the freedom to carve out a purpose that not only sustains me and my daughter but also serves to uplift and support countless others.
