Using Microsoft Teams

Many people are asking about Microsoft Teams as their colleagues are sent to work from home. Teams has been around for a while and was used by 44 million people last week, with 900 million minutes of meetings recorded with it.

Teams provides you with a Hub to work together securely, where you can significantly reduce email traffic by using Chat, use Channels instead of file folders and edit files with your colleagues at the same time.

With Teams you can schedule or use instant online meetings, where you can record your meetings with video and if you want to you can produce transcripts for minutes of the meeting.

You can use likes, @mentions and replies with a single tap to communicate with your team. Make your own space where you can add notes, websites and apps. Because it's in the cloud it lets everyone you invite work together, even if you're working remotely.

You can use it on computers, laptops, tablets and phones. It's fun to use and makes you more productive and creative, allowing you to work together in brand new ways.

Microsoft is offering Office 365 and Teams free for 12 months at the moment.
