Uteco - Best of 2022
2022 has been a year of changes and challenges for Uteco.
Despite the difficulties all industries were forced to face, we managed to reach our goals successfully and now we would like to share with you some of the achievements of the last 12 months.
Uteco wanted to refresh and optimize its image, starting at the beginning of the year with its logo. It needed to speak about a reality with deep roots that boasts a thirty-year history of success, while at same time being at the forefront of the printing and converting industry thanks to its innovative and technologically advanced products. It has not been a simple task, but we were committed.
Our new brand identity has been out for almost a year now, and we think it successfully coveys what we were aiming for.
We were able to boost our social media presence, reaching the 10k followers’ milestone in May. Since then, we have kept on growing each day even more.
In October Uteco presented its new website as part of its rebranding roadmap. Our goal was to match our new communication style with clean graphics and a more intuitive navigation system to help the user better understand our products and service portfolios.
While we were working on our communication, we set the goal to be more present than ever at a global level to let everybody meet the new Uteco.
In 2022 we expanded our international presence participating to more than 20 amongst the most significant events in the industry, such as K, Gulf Print&Pack, Print4All and many more.
At the same time, we launched a new event format we called Flex-on-Road, a series of one-day-seminars where Uteco and its partners bring the latest and most innovative technologies on the market directly to their clients all over the world.

So far, we made 7 stops between Africa and the Middle East and are planning several more for 2023 in different parts of the world.
We have also been featured in over 50 magazines and newspapers publishing, successfully managing to bring our new graphics and voice to our audience on a global scale.
In 2022, we renewed our efforts on innovation and research&development to better meet the needs of our clients worldwide and improve even further our product offerings. Thanks to our hard work and dedication, this year we were able to present the world something incredible.
In October we launched Onyx Go, the best CI flexo press for short runs, ever! Our newest machine is smaller, faster, and greener: the culmination of our pledge for smarter and more sustainable products. Its unique and innovative technologies put Onyx Go at the top of its market’s segment.
Onyx Go has not been the only launch of the year. We presented many new services such as Standard Upgrades – to improve and increase the life of the machines, Machine as a Service (or MaaS) – the operating leasing plan designed for Uteco’s products, Programmed Maintenance – to optimize performance and reduce machines’ downtimes, and many more to come.
2022 saw Uteco close new business deals in key geographic areas globally, while expanding its product portfolio through additional strategic acquisitions, such as Vision – the leading company for the design and production of advanced vision systems for industrial automation.
At the same time, as part of our expansion strategy, we opened new contact points around the world, such as Dubai and Singapore, to be even closer to our customers and their printing and converting needs.
Moreover, Uteco's journey toward sustainability has continued to push forward through significant growth in our environmental and social efforts. Our next goal is to make 2023 even greener.
We are now ready for even more challenges, more surprises, more unforgettable moments together.
We hope 2023 will be more Uteco than ever before.
