Value Proposition Risks Of The Telecare Programme

For every individual patient, it is required to ensure healthcare in a way that must satisfy the patient's concerns and needs. Patient satisfaction is the overall value proposition that the telecare programme offers through effective patient care.

In my previous article, I discussed the importance and risks associated with telecare programmes in healthcare. Today I want to discuss that shifting from theoretical documentation to actual implementation can greatly differ. Here we mention unprecedented outcomes and significant differences from theoretical descriptions as 'risks'.

Speaking of the innovation device and other technological advancements in Telecare, it is important to understand that to ensure care from a distance is the value the telecare programme offers to dementia patients, and the risks lie.

It is not wrong to state that the good news is 'telecare' and the bad news is 'telecare'. The distance from the healthcare institute may involve a variety of setbacks, such as easy and timely access to the patient in case of emergency, ensuring one-on-one communication with the patient, and helping the patient understand the treatment process.

Telecare, on the one side, ensures that communication will be effective through communication devices like cell phones. Still, it can not be ignored that virtual communication often leads to misinterpretation of the seriousness of the situation, expressions, and other requirements.

Thus, the patient-physician relationship will be primarily affected if the telecare programme is implemented.

The points mentioned above bring forward the value proposition risks where despite every effort to ensure effective patient care, the patient might feel unsatisfied, unheard, and misunderstood by the healthcare provider.

It should be remembered that patient satisfaction is the key factor to ensuring the value proposition. In my next article I will go into more detail about Telecare.

Hope this was informative for those interested to learn more about AI in Healthcare. I'll share the telecare programme's value proposition risks in the next post.
